Bridgetown–Greenbushes is a remarkable place to live, work and visit. The river. The festivals. The food. The creative community. But here's the thing, if you asked someone who's never been here why they should visit, what to do, where to go, what makes it worth the drive, most people would struggle to give you a compelling answer. Not because it isn't worth it. Because no one has ever put together a clear, shared story about what this region offers. And if you asked most local businesses: is trade as consistent as it could be? Are you getting visitors in the shoulder seasons, not just the long weekends? Most would say no.

We've formed the team, mapped businesses and operators across the region, and started the conversations, including with the Noongar community. Workshops and broader engagement begin mid-2026.
